OpenInference è un insieme di convenzioni e plugin complementare a [OpenTelemetry](https://opentelemetry.io/) per
abilitare il tracing delle applicazioni AI. OpenInference è supportato nativamente
da [Arize Phoenix](https://github.com/Arize-ai/phoenix) e [Arize AX](https://arize.com/products/ax?utm_source=docs&utm_medium=web&utm_content=openinference), ma può essere usato anche con qualsiasi backend
compatibile con OpenTelemetry.
## Specifica
La specifica OpenInference è redatta in file markdown che si trovano nella [directory spec](../../spec/). È progettata per
fornire visibilità sull'invocazione degli LLM e sul contesto applicativo circostante, come il retrieval da vector store
e l'uso di strumenti esterni quali motori di ricerca o API. La specifica è indipendente dal trasporto e dal formato dei file
ed è pensata per essere usata insieme ad altre specifiche come JSON, ProtoBuf e DataFrames.
